Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac Racing) made it an unforgettable Australian GP as the Frenchman claimed his maiden MotoGP™ win at the 120th time of asking following a weekend marked by adverse weather conditions that necessitated changes to the schedule. Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) joined him on the podium after a memorable last lap battle, while title contender and one-time race leader Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) finished fifth.
